Our hope is for every FPC participant to be actively involved in a spiritual growth opportunity in addition to worship.
FPC is a superb place to explore your faith – a place where questions about faith are welcome and we readily admit we don’t have faith all figured out. Questions can be asked safely, passionately, and in the good company of fellow travelers. Whether you’re looking for practical spiritual tools to help you with life’s daily challenges, or inspiration to go deeper on your faith walk, FPC offers classes and studies to encourage you. Our Sunday school hour runs from 9:45 till 10:40 each Sunday of the school year and at the 9am hour during the summer. Throughout the year, various classes of special topics and Bible Studies emerge. Topics might include a series on Faith and Film or a six-week study on Hip-Pocket Theology. On Wednesday evenings during the school year, we gather for covered dish meal and a Bible Study that previews the coming Sunday's Sermon. Opportunities for growth and fellowship are numerous.
Presbyterian Women at FPC is a ministry of women of all ages who enjoy fellowship and Bible study. We meet in ‘Circles’ during the morning (10:00) and evening (7:00) on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from September until May. The "PW" works in teams to provide ministries of service to the church. They work in small groups preparing the sanctuary for worship, to support families during times of loss and grief, and in providing for special events for the church. All of its ministries of service are avenues of opportunity to strengthen our friendships and our connections. All women are warmly invited to participate, whether in the ministry of fellowship, or the ministry of service, or both.
