The Presbyterian Church recognizes two sacraments. Baptism is a sign and seal of God’s activity in our lives. It is a welcome into the family of faith. We recognize all Christian baptisms done in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and if you have been baptized once, you do not need to be baptized again. If you are interested in baptism for yourself or for your child, speak to a pastor. In preparation, the pastor will schedule a time to meet with you to discuss the sacrament. The other sacrament in the Presbyterian Church, communion, is a celebration of remembrance of Christ's work and ministry. Theologically, it draws us back to Jesus’ Last Supper and before that to the first Passover meal. It draws us forward to a great heavenly banquet. Everyone is welcome to share in the meal. Communion is shared and celebrated at both services on selected, special Sundays.

Presbyterian Women
(PW) at FPC is a ministry of women of all ages who enjoy fellowship, service and Bible study. We meet in ‘Circles’ during the morning (10:00) and evening (5:30  ) on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from September until May. The PW works in small groups/teams to provide ministries of service to the church  like  preparing the sanctuary for worship, supporting families during times of loss and grief, and providing for special events. All of its ministries of service are avenues of opportunity to strengthen our friendships and our connections. All women are warmly invited to participate, whether in the ministry of fellowship, service, or Bible  study.
