Our hope is for every FPC participant to be actively involved in a spiritual growth opportunity in addition to worship.
FPC is a superb place to explore your faith – a place where questions about faith are welcome and we readily admit we don’t have faith all figured out. Questions can be asked safely, passionately, and in the good company of fellow travelers. Whether you’re looking for practical spiritual tools to help you with life’s daily challenges, or inspiration to go deeper on your faith walk, FPC offers classes and studies to encourage and engage you. Our Sunday school hour runs from 9:45 till 10:40 each Sunday. Throughout the year, various classes on special topics and Bible Studies emerge. Topics might include a series on Faith and Film or a six-week study on Hip-Pocket Theology. During the school year, a weekly Men’s Bible Study reads and studies the Bible book by book. On 1st and 3rd Thursdays at 10am and 5:30pm, year round, women meet for Bible Study. Life Groups crop up at various times offering small group study and fellowship. Opportunities for growth and fellowship are numerous.
Presbyterian Women (PW) at FPC is a ministry of women of all ages who enjoy fellowship, service and Bible study. We meet in ‘Circles’ during the morning (10:00) and evening (7:00) on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from September until May. The PW works in small groups/teams to provide ministries of service to the church. They work in small groups preparing the sanctuary for worship, supporting families during times of loss and grief, and providing for special events. All of its ministries of service are avenues of opportunity to strengthen our friendships and our connections. All women are warmly invited to participate, whether in the ministry of fellowship, service, or Bible Study.
