Women’s Bible Study - Jesus & Women in the First Century & Now by Kristi McLelland
1st and 3rd Thursdays, 10am & 6pm, Library
Professor McLelland is a biblical culturalist and college professor with a passion for understanding the Bible in its cultural context. She encourages using a Middle Eastern lens to better comprehend Bible passages as Jesus’ original audience would. Our study involves closely looking at Jesus’ interactions with different women in scripture and realizing how those interactions countered biblical-day customs while restoring dignity and honor to women.
