Join us for Advent Wreath Making!

Our annual Advent wreath making event will take place on the first Sunday of Advent. Bring greenery from your yard to share and your own garden clippers and fashion your family’s Advent wreath here at church or pick up a kit with candles, floral foam and directions and make your Advent wreath at home.

Our Pillars Lunch tradition is returning! The deacons provide this fellowship opportunity for our members, age 75+, once or twice each year to honor their dedication and commitment to the church. If you are a church pillar, we hope you’ll join the festive meal. This Advent we’ll move the luncheon to Clark Hall for safety sake. Please RSVP to the church office. Any questions can be directed to Malory Windham (674-8789) or Betsy Rascoe (230-4810).

Women’s Bible Study - Jesus & Women in the First Century & Now by Kristi McLelland
1st and 3rd Thursdays, 10am & 6pm, Library

Professor McLelland is a biblical culturalist and college professor with a passion for understanding the Bible in its cultural context. She encourages using a Middle Eastern lens to better comprehend Bible passages as Jesus’ original audience would. Our study involves closely looking at Jesus’ interactions with different women in scripture and realizing how those interactions countered biblical-day customs while restoring dignity and honor to women.
