Baptisms

Baptism is one of two sacraments we share in the Presbyterian Church.  It is a sign and seal of our belonging to Christ. The Presbyterian practice of infant baptism is a reminder of the power and reach of God’s grace, claiming us before we can claim God for ourselves. Youth and adults, who have not previously been baptized, receive the sacrament when they profess faith in Christ and join the church. If you would like to arrange for baptism of a child or wish to join the church yourself, please contact the church office and speak to the pastor.

The Lord’s Supper

The Lord’s Supper, sometimes called Holy Communion or Eucharist, is the other sacrament we recognize in the Presbyterian Church. In the breaking of the bread and the sharing of the cup, we experience communion with each other and Christ Jesus. Early worship service offers communion weekly. All the baptized faithful are welcomed to the Table, regardless of race, sex, age, economic status, social class, handicapping condition, difference of culture or language, or any barrier created by human injustice. By coming to the Table, the faithful are actively seeking reconciliation in every instance of conflict or division between themselves and their neighbor.
