 First Presbyterian Church rejoices with couples as they prepare to join together in marriage, and seeks to work with them so that marriage, from the wedding forth, will be a strong and faithful one. As Christians and Presbyterians, we believe that Christian marriage is a solemn and sacred covenant. A church wedding is first and foremost a worship service. Therefore, Christ, not the bridal couple, is the focus of the service. In orienting ourselves to God, we hope to ensure that each wedding is not only happy, but one of deep spiritual meaning.
