WEDNESDAY NIGHT SUPPERS 6:15 p.m. - Clark Hall (Jan.-Mar. and Sept.-Nov.) This is a time of fellowship for our congregation and a great opportunity to get to know other people in the church. Reservations are made on Sunday mornings by filling out the appropriate section of the Friendship Pad passed during worship, or by calling the church office (243-3115) by noon on Tuesdays. The cost is $3 for adults and $1.50 for children (12 and under) or a maximum of $10.00/family.
PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN (Women of the Church) All women in the church can be active participants in fellowship whose purpose is to nurture their faith through prayer and Bible study, to support the mission of the church worldwide, to work for justice and peace, and to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (USA) and witnesses to the promise of God’s Kingdom. Meetings are in the MOnthly Circles. There are morning and night Circles, which meet on the second Monday and Tuesday of each month throughout the year. | Parlor Circle meets the second Tuesday of each month during circle year at 10:00 a.m. in the Dudley Room for fellowship then the Parlor for Bible Study with a Nursery provided.
| Evening Circle meets the Monday after 1st Tuesday of each month during the circle year at 7:00 p.m. in the Dudley Room for fellowship then to the parlor for Bible Study or in members homes.
| | Weekly Bible Circle meets every Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the home of Kelly Gunter 4538 Dewfield Dr. | | CHANCEL GUILD A ministry of service and love by the Presbyterian Women which includes changing the paraments for worship service, funerals and weddings, training and scheduling acolytes, the advent wreath, easter lilies and poinsettias, ordering and decorating the Chrismon Tree, and keeping the linens cleaned. MEN OF THE CHURCH This fellowship of the men of the church meets the second Monday night of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Dudley Room, Education Building for a meal and an informative program. All men are invited to attend. If you would like more information, please contact Sid Bruton (291-2743).
HANDYMAN’S GUILD This group of retired men give of their time and skills to make general repairs to the church. They come to the church each Tuesday morning and do a variety of odd jobs, such as changing light bulbs, trimming trees and shrubs, painting, building shelves, etc. | |
