Reaching the world
Adult and youth mission trips – through the year, First Presbyterian provides mission opportunities for youth and adults. Watch the calendar for coming opportunities.

Serving the Community
First Presbyterian has a long history of ministry to the community of Wilson. This year, you can connect in a hands-on way.  Each month we will highlight a different local ministry and provide “day mission” opportunities for families and individuals to participate.  Monthly events will include gleaning for sweet potatoes, serving at St. St. Timothy’s Soup Kitchen, providing food for Hope Station shelter, and tutoring at the Wesley Shelter, just to name a few.  Once a month, every month, we participate in a Meal-for-Wheels program.

Caring for Each Other
The nature of life, with sickness and death, means that we will often be in need of the kindness of others. There are many ways in which we seek to support each other in these times of crisis or need.  Could you deliver Sunday flowers to someone having a rough week?  Would you be willing to visit a church member who can’t get out?  Could you provide a meal for someone just home from the hospital?  Can you do simple home-repair?  If so, contact the church office, and we will connect you to the appropriate ministry.
